Granada School RE-1

Granada FFA participated in the Lamar Community College Regional CDE's on March 27, 2024.  The chapter also had two teams competing in Ag Mechanics and Food Science. The Ag Mechanics team placed 15th out of 27 teams containing total of 91 FFA members. Individually, Lupe Martinez placed 26th, Alan Ayala placed 49th, and Cooper Dorenkamp placed 70th. The Food Science team placed 8th out of 18 teams. Individually, a total of 71 FFA students participated. Erick Rodriguez placed 1st overall. Rhye Ann Sanchez placed 34th, Karen Yanez placed 53rd, and Jaleesa Rodriguez placed 68th. The Food Science team qualified for State FFA Food Science CDE's which will be held in Fort Collins. Mr. Torres appreciates all the hard work and time the students put in to compete. Good luck to Granada FFA at State! Go Bobcats!
