We are proud to announce that GHS students, Victoria Cano and Mila Macias, were chosen as part of a team that will represent the State of Colorado and Granada School District in Japan.
This prestigious program, AFS Youth Talk - Mineta Ambassadors only accepts 5 ambassadors from Colorado. These young ladies were selected among a pool of 65 applicants this year.
They have shined throughout their initial time - completing a series of interviews, attending on-line and in-person seminars, and hosting students from Japan.
Tomorrow, both ladies will leave for an 11 day trip to Japan to give presentations at local schools.
Thank you to Mr. Hopper for the encouragement and guidance during the application program. We are so thankful for the opportunities he presents to all GHS students.
